The Bandit That Stole Portland's Heart

The Bandit That Stole Portland's Heart

Every city has its legends, mysteries, and beloved quirks. For Portland, Maine, one such enigma is the figure known as the Valentine's Day Bandit. Year after year, residents woke up on February 14th to find red paper hearts plastered all over the city, with no clue as to who is behind this whimsical act of love and mischief.

In his passing last year, Kevin Fahrman's family revealed that he was the cupid that brought us so much love for all these years.  This will be the first year without the Bandit himself, but he always had a crew that was shrouded in secrecy, keeping the mystery of the Valentine's Day Phantom alive!

Now, we can all be a part of his crew. Kevin's family has invited all of us to #BeAKevin and post Kevin's iconic heart design around your town. Go to BeAKevin.com to download the artwork and be a cupid, be a bandit, be a Kevin.
