Welcome to Maine: The Way Life Should Be
Hi - my name is Kyle and I was born and raised in South Portland, Maine. I’ve also lived in Boston, Los Angeles, and Melbourne, Australia - but I always find myself boomeranging back home to Vacationland.
I’m an artist, a geek, and a bit of a wanderer. I’ve travelled cross-country by car four times - once solo - and another solo trip by train. A lot of my professional experience is in film and advertising. I also worked for Eater as a writer and photographer. I spent some time as a bartender and bar manager both in Portland and Australia.
I currently work as a photographer. designer, and writer, running eCommerce shops and writing for my Maine travel blog, The Vacationlander. I love this state of Maine and I’m so happy to call it home. Thank you for joining me on this journey, discovering the best Vacationland has to offer.
